Drake noticed Rin looking for prey so also started looking around. Once he saw small group of deer, he froze and fell to the ground. He tried to hide under the grass, but he was still visible, so looked around for a better hiding place, hoping Rin was following his lead, not wanting to scare the deer.

Rin noticed what Drake was doing, and seeing the deer, she also dropped in the grass- but she was short enough and the grass was long enough for her to hide fully. The fae slunk forwards, careful not to make a sound, or otherwise alert the small herd.

Seeing that Rin was covered by the grass, Drake edged closer to her and whispered "If you get close, pick one out and drive it to the trees. I'll ambush it as it runs past. Okay?"

"Fine," She replied, now only about two meters away from a smaller doe that seemed to be deformed somehow. There was no sign of injury, but it was favoring a leg. She sprinted forward suddenly, chasing the doe towards the trees and Drake.

Drake made his way to the trees and crouched behind the tree, waiting eagerly for the deer to rush by him. He noticed which one Rin was aiming for as they ran towards him. He waited for the selected deer before sprinting out, leaping onto her, biting down on her neck, using his claws to grip onto her shoulders, trying to pull the deer down.

Rin ran as fast as possible, now racing the deer. She bit at its leg and it stumbled, and combined with Drake's weight, she crashed to the ground. "Nice strategy," Rin panted, glad to be hunting with a friend once more.

Drake smiled as he felt the deer go limp. "Thanks, but I couldn't have done it without you."

Rin laughed. "You would've found a way. Shall we take this back?" She asked, reminding herself that she had to ask where the warrior's den was.

"Of course, I'm sure the pack will enjoy this meal." he said as he tried to get the deer's hind legs over his back. "Think you can get the upper half of the deer? If we carry it this way, it'll be less awkward than dragging it." he smiled at Rin cheekily, knowing that they would have to stand closely together.

Fea looked at the fish with fire in her eyes. 'I must respect my food, I must respect my food." she repeated over and over. This didn't stop the she-wolf. she shredded the fish and licked the blood from her muzzle and stomped off to where Drake had gone. "A beautiful fae like you. Blah Blah Blah, I'm Farolin, I'm so perfect, Drake should love me and completely ignore Feather because she's so DUMB!" she mimicked the pair in anger and stomped back to camp, past Drake and Rin, who were hunting dear. But didn't disturb the herd in fear of upsetting Drake. The apprentice healer could care less about how much Farolin like her though. 'Good afternoon Rin, thanks for stealing Drake.' she taunted silently.

"Yeah, sure." Rin wriggled under the other half, it was easy to get underneath now that Drake was supporting one half. "Which way's the camp?" She asked, fully aware proximity of the brute, every nerve tingling.

Drake looked around to get his bearings while keeping his body still so as not to put them off balance. "Aah...This way." He pointed with his nose to the den. "This worked out perfect, the last stop on our tour." he said with another flirtatious smile. "Maybe I should be a tour guide for the new members." He suggested

"Maybe," Rin replied, and started walking forwards. It was less awkward then dragging it, but it was slightly uncomfortable. 'All the same,' She thought. "Er, Drake, I was wondering- do you know where the warrior's den is?"

Fea curled in her den, still mumbling curses under her breath.

Feather walked calmly through the forest, heading towards the lake where Drake had taken Rin earlier. She reached the bank and sat, looking out at the water. The snake from earlier slithered by and disappeared. Feather took a deep breath and strode out onto the water. Feather floated across the water and followed the creature. Fea turned around a bend by the shore and spotted Drake, bending over the snake with blood on his muzzle. The snake transformed into a wolf, light brown and a fae. It was Farolin. "I killed it for you." he smiled, his teeth pink with her blood and dripping. "Drake, I don't want it to be for me." Feather gasped. "Not for me."

The healers apprentice gasped awake. "Maybe I'm not meant to have a mate." she mumbled, rose and went out into the clearing, blinking at the light and grabbing a hare from the pile to eat.

Drake walked in step with Rin, knowing that if either of them fell out of pace, it was likely that they could fall over. "Uuh.." Drake started, thinking. "To be honest, I haven't gone into the den yet. It's just so nice outside, especially at night."

"Oh," Rin replied, feeling more than a little ignorant. They had almost reached the camp. "Thanks for the tour," Rinn added, slightly zoned out.

Sighing and getting her fill, it seemed as if Amuro found this slightly awkward. Taking a few more bites she said, "Well, I'm full... I'll just, go," Getting up and licking her crimson maw, Katria streaked off toward her tree. Once she did, the femmora wrapped her onyx body around the rough, scratchy, pale-brown trunk of the thin tree, thinking, 'It seemed a little awkward with him. What would be wrong, though? Amuro seemed to be the only one in the pack to not aggravate her. Why was it so awkward then...?'

"No problem at all." Drake said with a grin. "This looks as good a place as any to place our prize." He said as he gently tilted his body forward so the deer slid off his back. He then noticed some blood from the deer on Rin's back. "Oh, let me get that for you" He said as he walked to her side and gently groomed her coat. As he groomed her, he suddenly thought to himself 'I hope I'm not taking this too far, I don't want to lead her on.'

Rin stepped away. "Thanks," She said, and dipped her head. She turned and walked over to Feather's den. 'Maybe I can apologize, she seemed really mad,' Rin thought. 'I wonder what I did...'

"No problem." He replied as she walked away, starting to feel like he was repeating himself. He lay down and watched as she made her way over to Feather, which made him think of her confession to him. 'I should give her more attention.' he thought, 'but I have to make sure she doesn't get the wrong idea.'

Feather could smell Farolin walking towards her. "No point just standing there. I can smell him on you." she growled from the shadows. "No point in apologizing. He will just do it again. Drake has a mate. Her name is Flame and she's gone missing. You wanna make him happy? Go find his mate." she spat at the brown fae.

Rin's eyes widened, shocked at the fae's display of temper, but she recovered quickly. "I'm sorry," She said, "But I didn't know that you had any claim on him. And who said I want to make him happy? You're the desperate one." She frowned inwardly, thinking of when she'd seen her staring at him like a lovesick pup.

Feather let a threatening growl slide from her throat. 'Stay calm, you bite her and you leave.' Feather ordered herself to relax. "I have no claim on those who don't care." she hissed. Another growl slipped.

Rin felt a growl of her own rising in her throat, and left the den before it could turn into anything. Unsure where to go from there, she sat and began to groom her now disheveled pelt, confused about the day's happenings.

Drake watched Feather bicker with Rin. Once Rin moved away he trotted over, not wanting to get in the middle of a fight. "Are you okay?" He asked Feather. "What was that about?"
